Greetings and welcome to SEARLSTUDIO.COM.  Originally created in 1999 as the name for Photographic Art by Stephan Earl, SEARLSTUDIO is now the umbrella organization for SearlStudio Publishing, Stephan Earl Music™, Photographic Art by Stephan Earl and all original music, art and written works by Stephan Earl.

Studying music since age 12, Stephan learned to play such instruments as the clarinet, flute and tenor saxophone before self teaching himself piano.  Taking to the piano, Stephan began composing music by age 14 and producing artists in the studio by age 17.  Stephan further advanced his studies of electronic music and composition while attending the Fiorello Laguardia HS for the performing arts, and again at the Manhattan Music conservatory.

Shortly after joining the US Army as a Photojournalist and Broadcast Journalist in 1992, Stephan took a hiatus from producing music and explored a new craft – Photography.  In 1999, Stephan began to catalog the images photographed during that 7 year period and created SEARLSTUDIO.COM to showcase the images.   During the next six years, Stephan spent time traveling around the US and internationally exploring digital photography, Photoshop and digital painting.  Much of Stephan’s current  published Photographic Art was created during this time.

In 2005, Stephan decided to rekindle his love for composing and producing music and began to rebuild his home music production studio.  He also set out to record and produce his first released CD which culminated in “Origins” released in 2009.  With hundreds of completed songs in his archive of cataloged music written through the years, Stephan currently spends his free time composing, recording and producing music from his home studio.
